T. Harold Bowles Jr.
(a.k.a. "Mr. Beans") is the founder and principle of International Multimedia
Consultants, LLC. Mr. Bowles brings more than 30 years of experience in
providing entertainment brokering, management, production, and consultation
services to the entertainment industry.
T. Harold Bowles Jr. is the son of one of Motown Records’ elder statesmen, the late Thomas “Dr. Beans” Bowles, creator of the Motown Review and writer of Stevie Wonder’s first major hit, “Fingertips.” Mr. Beans Jr. was raised in the music business, cutting his teeth at Motown’s Hitsville U.S.A. as a childhood traveling companion of Stevie Wonder and later as personal business manager of the late Paul Williams of the Temptations.
Harold’s experience in the entertainment industry is personified beyond his accomplishments in management. His richly rooted heritage continues with his own personal talent; he is an accomplished pianist, vocalist and songwriter. Harold fronted his own group and traveled throughout America as an entertainer and bandleader during the 70’s and early 80’s, achieving popular success with his group “The Other Brothers”. The Bowles family owned a popular night club “The Underground Express” and also created their own record label in the late 1970’s, “Renaissance 76’ and collectors today are still seeking rare copies from the artists produced.
From 1993 through 2000, Bowles directed Pan Asia International Booking Office, Inc. with offices throughout Japan. He worked as a talent broker, booking entertainment and developing, managing and producing the signature entertainment that Pan Asia was known for in ten upscale entertainment venues throughout Southeast Asia. Other responsibilities included hiring show bands and specialty acts from the U.S., arranging immigration, customs, transportation, accommodations and production logistics.
Upon his return to the U.S., Bowles continues his entertainment legacy with various noteworthy ventures:
He is a founding member of "In The Black" Productions & Film. LLC, a Detroit based independent film Production Company. The company is leading an initiative dubbed by Bowles “From Motown to Movietown".
Senior Instructor for the Recording Institute of Detroit. His curriculum focuses on music production and developing studies for film and video production
Managing Partner and Director of Production & Operations of Bert's Entertainment, a multi-venue entertainment complex.
