DMAMEA

The purpose of the Detroit Metro Area Musicians & Entertainers Association (DMAMEA) is to make an easily accessible avenue for Detroiters who are involved in the performing arts and provide an opportunity to participate within a performing arts association, giving them a chance to share common resources, privileges, and services that are "exclusive" to it's members.

A great way DMAMEA serves musicians & entertainers is as a support system.  For years, DMAMEA has made venues available within the performing arts arena and assisted with financial support during bereavement, medical cost and other issues.

As an interest group, DMAMEA works on behalf of the people of the City of Detroit and Metropolitan areas to assist in bringing forth recognition for the honorable status Detroit possess as "The Music Capital of the World".
